I have had the pleasure of knowing Zack for the past 5 years. I have seen him struggle and I have seen him succeed in great ways including touring nationally with his last band. He’s a crazy talented musician and better yet, he’s got the heart and passion to match. He’s one of those guys you could call at 4 am and ask for help and he’d show up. He’s just a good dude in general. When I met Kristen, she was sitting by his hospital bed after he snapped his femur in a long boarding wreck. There was just something about how he spoke with her and about her that I knew she wasn’t going anywhere in his life. I was thrilled when he told me he had asked her to be his wife, and unbelievably honored when they asked me to document their love and life in these events! I hope you enjoy a little look into their engagement session! We had a GREAT time hiking and taking pictures. It’s crazy for me at times like these to look back on these “kids” that I watch grow and take on life with such zest an fervor. I can’t begin to tell you how that makes my heart beat with happiness…
