Maternity photos + becoming parents

Taking maternity photos can be an odd thing for me sometimes. Not that I think the process is odd, or even the photos. It’s just a session I always show up to not quite sure of what is going to happen because I know how pregnancy goes. Having had two kiddos in the last 2.5 years, we have been thru pregnancy a lot lately! ;) It can go from a perfectly normal day and feeling great to a headache and feet up kind of night rather quickly. However, when these two came bouncing out of the car with giant smiles on their faces, I knew we were in for some fun! The sun came out for the WHOLE weekend this weekend and graced us with some badly needed relaxation from the winter and it’s weather. Enjoy some of the photos of the celebration of one part of this parenting journey coming to a close for Kristie + Ryan and another one just beginning! Their baby boy should be here soon and we can’t WAIT to photograph his little squishy face! SO, without further adieu, Kristie + Ryan!

What perfect weather to end our session with!! Thanks to you two for being so willing to roll with my suggestions and to Kristie especially for being so happy and good natured despite being 32 weeks preggers! You guys are gonna make some BEAUTIFUL babies and I am honored to be a part of the documenting of their lives!
